THE STORY SO FAR ...
Celestial Oracle is a land of myth and magic, a realm of interlacing worlds in which deified creatures, also known as Celestial Oracles, act as foundations. Celestial Oracles are nature's fury manifested, ethereal Deities that know all, see all and inhabit planes of existence unreachable to mortals. However, Their will often embodies a corporeal form, in order to communicate with Their followers amidst the temporal lands they call home. The most venerated followers of a Celestial Oracle are known as Oracles, and the highest amongst them are called Speakers.
While a Celestial Oracle cannot die, Their corporeal form can be bested in combat and temporarily defeated. A Celestial Oracle's power derives from Their followers, as it is their belief that allows the God to continue on. This, truly, is the only way to destroy a Celestial Oracle – with little faith to embolden them, They will simply flicker out of existence.
In times of great unease and strife, the player arrives in Celestial Oracle to discover Hjarnar, Kraatos and Orriana, the reigning Celestial Triad, are weak and ailing. Cloistering Themselves from those who believe in Them, the player must speak with Their followers and follow a winding path of clues, history and a forgotten treachery, in order to uncover the truth of the Celestial Triad's blight. One must beware, though, as a malicious figure lingers within the shifting darkness, casting a tall shadow over the Celestial Oracles and those who worship Them...
